Kele Global is a non-profit organization founded in 2019 that educates empowers, and

inspires disadvantaged children, youth and communities in Africa.

Kele Global is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization born from a deep belief in the dignity, strength, and untapped potential of Africa’s youth. We exist to educate, empower, and inspire disadvantaged children, young people, and communities, helping them rise above adversity and move confidently toward brighter futures.

Rooted in a story of resilience and shaped by a lifelong connection to Sudan, South Sudan, and Uganda and the wider region, Kele Global was created to bridge the gap between what young people have and what they deserve: guidance, opportunity, safety, and hope.

Across Africa, millions of children and youth are full of promise, ambition, and energy. But without access to meaningful education, mentorship, and supportive community structures, that same potential can be lost—to violence, exploitation, child soldiering, or forces that thrive on vulnerability.

Kele Global was founded to interrupt that cycle.

We believe every child has a spark within them.
We believe youth carry the power to rebuild and reimagine their societies.
And we believe communities grow stronger when their young people are uplifted, not ignored, forgotten, or used.

From our offices in Washington, D.C. and Uganda, we work across borders to deliver programs that open doors, strengthen communities, and guide young people step by step toward possibility. Whether through education, leadership development, skill-building, community support, or mentorship, our purpose is the same:

To help youth rise into their fullest potential—and become agents of change in their own lives and nations.

The heart of our work is simple:

Kele Global’s name comes from a story of patience, hope, and resilience. Our mission comes from a belief that every young person deserves a chance. And our work continues because we know the future of Africa is bright—if we nurture the hands and hearts of those who will shape it.
